Mikee’s godmother called me yesterday. She asked me if we could go to McDonalds with Mikee. She wanted to play with her. I said ok since I was almost done packing. I was on a diet so all I ordered was pineapple juice. Mikee had nuggets and fries.

The reason I was blogging about this was, yesterday Mikee did something for the first time. You see, it used to be that when Mikee goes to any food chain playgrounds, she always just hangs out at the start or end of the “tunnel”. She had never ventured inside.

But today, she climbed and crawled inside. And like a cheerleader, I was coaching her through the tunnel. I was waving to her whenever she passed a “window”. But just right when she’s about to slide, she paused. She took a peek checking if I was at the end of the tunnel. I cheered, “Come on, Mikee. Sit and slide! Mommy’s here!”

This I was telling her for about 30 minutes!!! Then she decided to sit and slide. Whew! I should have brought my camera.

That’s it for now. I need to finish research about free insurance quotes before I hit the sack. Good night!

Woah! I didn’t twit nor flick today. I didn’t even turn on the laptop before this blog post. My initial purpose was just to clean up the camera’s memory card to give way to our vacation photos to be taken in the next couple of days.

Today I was busy packing up and doing some last minute errands. Quite expectedly I missed some things on my list, like I wasn’t able to buy filter for the lens and a remote control for the camera. Oh, bygones!

What’s important is I’ll be going away with family and friends. Oh, I still feel bloated. Last weekend, I have been contemplating whether to buy the best diet pill or not. But I was too lazy to even buy.

I have been feeling thirsty most of the time. I just hope and pray the water does not retain too much. Or I won’t have the nerve to strut in my tankini.

In my opinion, one exciting aspect of being a wife is home decorating. I personally like a modern / contemporary house near the city and a country-style type as a vacation house. The country style house will have furniture and accessories that are mostly hand-painted with fresh (and dried) flowers around.

On the other hand, the contemporary house will be minimalist-oriented with slim and stainless steel accessories. I can picture in my mind, a living room with blomus stainless steel fireplace accessories.

I’d like to share a layout with my favorite picture of Mikee as a flowergirl. Since I find the photo so artistic, I can’t find any scrapping elements that won’t “drown” the photo. Hence, the simplicity of the layout. (Waah, excuses?!?! Hahaha)

I’m too lazy to re-type the journaling of this layout. And I no longer have the psd file for it. My journaling isn’t that good either so you’re not really missing on anything.
