Documenting 2012

I’m thinking if I should use PopBooth for my face-a-day 2012 project. I’ve been taking shots of myself when bored and stuck in traffic on our way to work.

What do you think? :D Yeah yeah but if I’d be doing a face-a-day, I’d probably take shots of my kids’ faces instead of mine.

Like yesterday, I just had to take a photo of myself. Yeah, vain!

Also yesterday, while busy working, an officemate suddenly exclaimed “Yay! I got reward cards and a new lot!” We all smiled at her in a bit of congratulatory manner, and then she suddenly felt shy and told us she’s just playing a game on her ipod.

I’m seriously planning to document our 2012. I’m just not sure yet if I’d do it via Instagram, PopBooth or Project Life (using polaroids but that would be toooooooo expensive). But I’m definitely going to keep a diary again, as in an offline diary, then I can just stick a polaroid whenever I have film sheets. :P

making it simple.

Life can be so hectic that as much as I want to scrap our photos, I just couldn’t find the time to squeeze it in my schedule. But with Project Life I saw at Ali Edward’s blog, I realized there’s hope for busy moms like me. One can just use business office supplies on hand or opt to still use acid-free products. But still, this project takes off the pressure to come up with really beautiful layouts. I also find them clean and structured.

love the colors. love the patterns.

When I saw the new Lemonade kit from Basic Grey, I knew I have seen it somewhere. And then I saw a sample layout made by Kelly Goree.

I suddenly remember where. :)

saving up for upcoming sales

I was not supposed to buy during the SPD dollar sale. I am saving up for my “toys” I plan to give myself for Christmas and for my birthday (they’re both on the same month). But it’s just a dollar for the whole kit so I thought it was almost a steal. ;)

I am also browsing for camera sales online and saw the Black Friday ads. I guess I can wait till Thanksgiving before buying any camera. If I could save much, then it will be worth the wait.

Btw, can you believe RitzCamera.com have these 12×12 paper packs on sale for only $12.89 each?
