While people are wishing for iphones, MacBook and other electronics for Christmas, I have simple wishes. I have asked permission from the husband if I can buy a digital camera. He agreed as long as I won’t touch the family “pot” and stick to our budget plan. (Yes the budget plan is not so strict, a little flexible.)

You see, these past few months I stopped taking pictures outside of the house because I found our DSLR too heavy and bulky. It just makes me too lazy to bring it. So I thought a digicam would encourage me to take pictures again but then I am still hesitant to buy. I can’t simply let go that much money now.

There are tons of great digital scrap kits online. Digital kits have freed me from worrying about my patterned papers’ colors or theme not matching my photos and mood. Not to mention the digital alternative saved me much money.

I understand there are still traditional scrappers who are lovers of texture. It is always nice, they say, to touch the pages and feel different textures instead of just the glossy magazine-like feel of printed digital pages. There are those who wouldn’t think twice using some gold dust from their gold bullion and sprinkle it in their layouts, or using some gold chains. Like gold, they treat their layouts as family jewels.

But artists and designers never failed us to give us the digital option. Just like this gold alpha set.

While other moms are busy planning parties or checking for Branson vacation packages for their family trips, I’m simply waiting for a sale.

I’m also still waiting for Mikee’s costume for Halloween and hoping it arrives soon. But regardless it arrives on time or not for our Trick or Treat in the office, I still plan to make a way for Mikee to wear that in any of the nearby malls.

Aside from the costume itself, I am waiting to buy a matching kit on sale. I was told that SSD will have another sale this month.

I am in a lookout for a nice but inexpensive laptop bag. I’d want it to be made of leather but since I prefer it to be inexpensive, I’d settle for synthetic leather. Think of cheaper version of red vanilla laptop bags.

I actually found quite a few over at multiply but can’t seem to decide on what color I should order. I want something that would match the small bags that I use (for wallet, vanity items, ID cards, etc) to office, and at the same time, match my ugg boots on Fridays, our “jeans” days. So it’s a toss among white, black and brown.

We are now starting our Christmas list and I just noticed that the husband listed more nfl t shirts than I expected. Not complaining as I have more vanity kits on my list this year. Hahahaha. Vanity kit is just a code for anything that women would love. I sure hope a shirt that he listed is also a code for anything that men would love.

Now that we’re almost done with our list, I sure hope the budget starts rolling in.

While looking for wholesale items on the internet, I stumbled on this new digiscrap shop. Well, the shop is new but the designers have been in the industry for years now. I’ve seen their products in another shop. (Yeah, shop. It looks like most of them came from just one shop. Haha.)

The shop is 9th & Bloom. Ok, maybe not new, but it’s new to me. Haha.

It is always nice to give loved ones any scrapbook projects. It is like sharing your creativity plus it is personalized making it very special. The giver took time to “analyze” the personality and preference of the receiver. Not to mention the time and effort spent on making that gift.

Well, these gifts are sure-fire hits to our girl friends. But how about our male friends? I’m thinking personalized basketballs or keychains. I wonder if my male friends have one too many of those swiss knife slash flashlight slash bottle opener from last Christmas.

Should I keep trying to lose weight or should I accept my current weight and start buying clothes in another size? Hahaha. This may sound funny, but I’m sure a lot of women can relate to my predicament. Should I resort to weight loss products?

Well, I haven’t updated my wardrobe this quarter yet. So maybe, it’s the best time to buy but still, I can’t help but wonder if, for some luck, I’d still be able to go back to my ideal size.

Ok, maybe, I should buy shoes!

Many moms, like me, would like to earn extra income at home to help augment the family budget. Lately, I’m thinking of learning how to make bracelets. I realized I like bracelets and bangles, so why not try making some?

Speaking of making bracelets, I wonder if it’s “fine” for one to re-make one’s Dzi bracelet. I wonder if it’s unlucky or just fine to cut it so as to use another thread and put a bracelet lock. This is to avoid the bracelet to tear on its own making its beads fall on the ground, which is said to be unlucky.
