ToT 2011

Last Oct 25th, the kids went trick or treat’ing in our office. At long last, Mikee was able to go as Ariel, the Little Mermaid, which she had been planning for 2 years now. I was worried she’d change her mind again. The costume was a bit big on her, still, her round tummy was quite obvious. I’m thankful that she’s not conscious about it. I really don’t want to worry about appetite control. For me, as long as she’s happy, I won’t mind if my daughter is fat or thin.

While Theo came as a football… uhm, I mean football player.

Theo shoots some hoops!

A month before I gave birth, we were at the mall looking for best metal detectors when we passed by this photo studio. Our daughter had her first photoshoot there when she was 10 days old. Unfortunately, that studio was relatively new, and there weren’t much props and ideas for newborns at that time.

Anyway, they seemed to “grow” experience-wise so I checked their package. They were cheaper than my first choice but still, I think it’s a lot of money for 6 pieces of photos. (I used to think differently before we got our DSLR)

I asked hubby if we can have our son’s photoshoot there, and if we can go when he is 10 days old. He was reluctant so I didn’t push the idea. When I gave birth, I must say I had difficulty recuperating, and going out (much more to do a photoshoot) would be impossible.

But (when Theo turned 11 days old), that didn’t stop me to do a DIY photoshoot at home. ;)
